Save the Date! Get Ready to Get Resilient!

August 17-20, 2010
6th Atlantic Summer Institute (ASI)
University of Prince Edward Island, Charlottetown

Q. What makes communities resilient? How do people and communities thrive in spite of difficult circumstances?

A. Our theme for ASI 2010 is Innovation and Collaboration: Building Resilient Communities. We will explore the answers to these questions together as we learn from the fields of:

• social and economic development
• crime prevention and community safety
• health and safety promotion
• environmental sustainability

The Institute will attract those individuals and organizations who are working with innovative and collaborative practices as well as those who are looking to learn and be inspired by them!

“In the middle of difficulty lies opportunity.” Albert Einstein (1879-1955)
